Check-In Process

At the time of Check-In at the event all athletes must submit the following items:

  • Photo ID
  • Proof of current USA Dance membership
  • Collegiate competitors must submit a current collegiate ID.

Registration Check-In:

Both members of Amateur and Professional couples MUST be present for check-in. Pro-Am Student, Collegiate, Teacher/Student, Mixed Proficiency, and Solo Proficiency Competitors may check in individually. Competitors under 18 years old MUST have a parent or guardian accompany them to check-in.

Step 1 – Each competitor will need to present their current USA Dance membership card or a copy thereof. Renewal of USA Dance memberships will not be available at the event.

Step 2 – Each competitor regardless of age will need to present a photo ID. If a youth competitor does not have a photo ID, the parent or guardian will be asked to show their photo ID.

Step 3 – Any unpaid competitor fees will be collected at this time. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card.

Step 4 – Each competitor must sign the USA Dance Athlete Waiver. For competitors less than 18 years old, a parent or guardian will also have to sign the Waiver. Review the Athletes Waiver. You may download the form and fill it out BUT DO NOT SIGN IT and bring it with you to Check In.

Step 5 – Each championship level competitor other than Pro-Am Student Athletes must sign the Anti-Doping Form. For competitors less than 18 years old, a parent or guardian will also have to sign the Anti-Doping Form. Review the Anti-Doping Form.  You may download the form and fill it out BUT DO NOT SIGN IT and bring it with you to Check In.

Step 6 – Each couple will pick up their competitor package containing nametags, heat sheet, competitor number, and safety pins. Please check to see that your heats are correct. If you find an error, please notify the on-site registrar immediately.

Costume Check-In will be taking place for all Pre-Teen, Junior, and Youth Syllabus competitors prior to picking up their packet. If you have any questions prior to arriving at the competition, please refer to the 2024-C USA Dance DanceSport Rulebook or contact the DanceSport Rules Officials Team.
